We are going to teach you the basics that you need to get started bidding online with us. We always try to make this process easy for people but inevitably there are always a few hiccups in the process.
For all of our online bidders we require you to have an account with us. We know some people say well I don’t what to make an account can I still bid?
The short answer is no this is how we keep track of who has the winning bid, so you can know where you stand during the auction. But it’s also better than the honor system when you come pick up what you won.
So to get started you need to click on the login/register button in the upper right and of the page. It’s going to have you fill in some information like your name, email, phone number, and your address. We also need your card to pay for auctions. This helps us keep people a little more honest. I prevents people from making bids that they no intention of paying for just to push the item to the next week.
The next part is the fun part you need to win your first auction. really the first thing to do is to find something that you want bid on. So you are are just going to enter your bid amount and hit the button to make the bid. You will either get a little notification saying you have the high bid or you have been out bid.
Online auctions are a bit different than in person auctions when it comes to the end. When you are in person the auction just ends when people aren’t outbidding each other anymore. But an online auction has a set end time. You might say what’s to stop people from sniping it at the last minute. Well when you bid in the last few minutes it will add time to the auction, so as long as people keep bidding the auction won’t end.
All purchases must be paid in full immediately following the sale. No items can be removed until payment has been made in full. Please check the terms and conditions as the following payment forms may vary from sale to sale. We normally accept payments in the form of:
Cash (preferred in most cases)
Business or Personal Check with Bank Letter of Guarantee
Bank to Bank Wire transfer if a prior deposit has been made (consult Terms & Conditions)
Credit Cards are sometimes accepted if the seller has approved (consult Terms & Conditions)
It doesn’t matter what you bought but like we said before you can’t pick anything up until it’s paid for. But once you pay for the for the item you can pick it up. You do have to go to the right location though because we have these auction items in different locations, so make sure you look at the address before you go to pick up your winnings.
Now that you won your first auction we need to get to the important part. You need to get back out there and start bidding again because we all know that once you start bidding you just need to keep going.
